the crucible acting 2017-2018
2B: Alyssa M.
We are like two peas in a pod Don't doubt that, Tod. You make me want to smile No other women would go the extra mile You mean more to me than my favorite dress Or all the other things that make me obsessed My love for you is so strong Not being your girl is so wrong Your love is worth more than its weight in gold The thought of money before love makes me cold Let's live and have a great time Cause no matter what you will always be mine. |
2B: Cat C.
We are better as one, not two then as you love me and I love you Happy we are together they wish to be us forever I love being with you more than anything When I am with you I stop breathing without your love I would thirst I will always put you first I thank god everyday that we met I hope out love will be forever kept While we live, let's live in love Because your love is a gift from above. |
4A: Brenden C.
I promise, it's us till the end My heart is what I have to lend I've found my other half Other girls try, I just laugh I love you more than Snapchat and Instagram Even more than my fam I'm in love, I hope you feel the same Our love is something not to tame Our love has no price Money will never entice Let's stick together, through thick and thin Even if I lose, I'll always win |

"Self-Reliance" Post-It Activity
Romanticism: Lego Activity
The two doors represent the two different ways to look at life, since there is always two ways to look at everything. Our project is shaped like a bird to show how someone will always be able to guide you no matter who you are. We added a cross at the top to show how peoples' beliefs and religion can be supportive throughout life. The eyes show how there are always other perspectives than what firsts meets the eye.

Puritan product project 2014-2015
Assignment:
Imagine you are a Puritan living in America today. The Puritan beliefs and values seem to be lost and you would like to bring them back. 2. Slogan and description of product
3. Quote from a Puritan figure endorsing the product
a. William Bradford, Anne Bradstreet, Jonathan Edwards
4. The use of at least TWO of Jonathan Edwards’ persuasive strategies to convince people to buy your product

5. One paragraph explanation of how your product represents the three key values and beliefs of Puritanism
a. Grace, Simplicity, Divine Mission
6. Presentation

An activity within the Jonathan Edwards' "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" lesson was to reread one of the vivid metaphors used in the sermon and create a poster of the imagery described. The students also discussed and presented their responses to the following questions: 1. What message is Edwards trying to express with the use of the image/metaphor? 2. How does that message support his purpose for giving his sermon? |
native american myths 2014-2015
Creation/origin myth bulletin board created to display students' myths and posters.
For our Native American myth lessons, Miss Sangi and I created our own "fan fire" in efforts to reenact a Native American Pow wow. Students were asked to sit around the "fire" as we read the Iroquois myth, "The World on the Turtle's Back" to them.
